Short answer: yes. We clean both fabric and leather couches in Robina, often in the same lounge suite, and often for the same customer more than once. This job is one we return to regularly, a mix of fabric upholstery and leather hide pieces, cleaned with different products and different equipment because the two materials are nothing alike.

A Robina customer we have cleaned for over several years
This job is a genuine repeat customer in Robina, one we have been back to regularly over the past several years. The lounge room is a mix, some pieces in fabric upholstery, others in leather hide, and every visit means treating each one with what it actually needs rather than running the same process over everything in the room.
Why fabric and leather never get cleaned the same way
Fabric upholstery gets tested against its cleaning code first, W for water based, S for solvent only, WS for either, X for vacuum only, before any product goes near it. Once we know what is safe, we clean with truck mounted extraction where van access allows, or a high powered commercial grade portable machine where it does not. Either way it is a water based process that lifts soil and residue out of the fibre.
Leather hide is a completely different job. It is never water extracted the way fabric is. Leather gets cleaned and conditioned with leather specific products, worked in by hand or a soft brush, then buffed back. Done properly it lifts body oils, dust and surface grime while keeping the hide supple, done with the wrong product or the wrong method it dries the leather out or strips the finish. Using a fabric process on leather, or a leather process on fabric, damages both, which is exactly why the fabric code and the material both get checked before we touch anything.
What a mixed lounge suite actually looks like on the day
On a job like this one, that usually means a fabric sofa or recliners tested and steam cleaned, then leather pieces, recliners, an ottoman, a chaise, cleaned and conditioned separately with their own products. Same visit, same call-out, two different processes running side by side because the materials demand it.
