Burleigh Heads is not a special trip
We get asked fairly often whether a specific suburb is a genuine part of our run, or a stretch. Burleigh Heads is one of the suburbs we service most regularly on the Gold Coast, not a fringe area we occasionally cover. A couch clean here is about as standard a job as we do.
What actually happens during a couch clean
The process does not change because it is a suburb we know well. We start with a proper inspection, checking the fabric type and the cleaning code where a tag is present, W for water based, S for solvent only, WS for either, X for vacuum only. We test the cleaning product on a hidden area before it goes anywhere near the rest of the couch. That step gets skipped by hire machines and it is the single biggest reason DIY attempts go wrong.
Where van access is available, we run the same truck mounted steam extraction system used on carpets. Plenty of homes in Burleigh Heads, particularly the beachfront apartment buildings, do not have that kind of access. For those we bring a high powered commercial grade portable machine instead, with lift access and a clear path to the unit. The result is equivalent either way. Fabric matters more than people think
