A courtesy buggy sits in the driveway, because guests get driven up to the function centre attached to the main house. Most carpet cleaning Gold Coast wide never has to think about who walks through afterwards. This one did.

This is a Currumbin property with a function centre built onto the main house. The van in the photo is set up with the hose run out, and the buggy beside it is how guests get moved around the property.
We cleaned the carpeted areas and the rugs across the whole place. Nothing unusual about the soiling. What made it a different job was the number of people who would be walking through it afterwards, none of whom the customer could ask about allergies or sensitivities beforehand.
In a normal home you know who lives there. If someone has asthma or reacts to strong cleaning products, the customer tells us and we work around it.
A property with guests moving through constantly does not give you that. The customer asked for a low toxicity, hypoallergenic product to be used throughout, so that whoever turned up was already catered for. That is a sensible call and an easy one to accommodate.
Worth being clear about what this is and is not. A hypoallergenic product is chosen to be gentler and less likely to provoke a reaction. It is not a medical claim and we do not make one. Anyone with a genuine sensitivity should still speak to their own doctor about what they react to.
The rugs were done on site, the same as always. We do not take rugs away, they get cleaned where they lie, with the fibre checked before anything touches them.
Using one product across the carpet and the rugs is the part that actually matters here. Cleaning the carpet gently and then running something harsher over the rugs in the same room defeats the purpose. Consistency through the whole property was the request and it is the only version of this that makes sense.
Function spaces and short stay properties are the obvious ones, because the people walking through change every week. Family homes ask for it too, usually where somebody in the house has asthma, or where there is a baby crawling on the floor and the parents would rather not think about it.
It is worth asking about rather than assuming. Most people never raise it, and it costs nothing to specify when you book.
The heavy lifting in a carpet clean is not the chemistry, it is the truck mounted extraction. Hot water and high pressure go in, the soil comes back out under vacuum, and that is what actually leaves the carpet clean. The product loosens what is bound to the fibre so the extraction can lift it.
Choosing a gentler product does not change the machine, the water temperature, the pressure or the technique. On general soiling, which is what this property had, there is no trade off worth talking about. Where it would matter is a heavy, set-in problem that needs a specific treatment, and that is a conversation to have before the day rather than a surprise on it.
It follows the number of rooms, the number and size of the rugs, and what condition everything is in. A large property with a function space attached is a different job to a two bedroom unit, which is why there is no flat number worth quoting on a page.
The minimum call-out fee is $145 plus GST across the Gold Coast to Tweed Heads area. Tell us the rooms, the rugs and anything specific about products, and you will get an estimate. Estimate rather than quote, because the fibre and the condition are things we confirm in front of them.
Most carpets are dry within a few hours to the same day. Humidity slows that down, so a February clean takes longer to dry off than the same job in a breezy week in winter.
Tell us about the job in 60 seconds. Personal reply, usually the same day. No pressure, no lock-in, no call centre.
