The customer had recently bought the property and had spent three weeks in hospital with severe asthma. She was coming home to a house she had not lived in yet, with carpet that carried whatever the previous household had left in it. The timing mattered, so the work needed to be done and the carpet dry before she arrived.
That is a fairly common shape for a job at a change of ownership, just with more riding on it than usual.
Hypoallergenic products, start to finish
Every product used on this job was hypoallergenic. That is a choice we make when it is asked for, not a premium extra we upsell.
What a proper clean genuinely does is remove what has built up in the pile: dust, dander left behind by pets you never met, general soil, and the allergens that travel with all of it. Truck mounted extraction pulls far more of that back out of the fibre than a domestic machine manages, and it leaves the carpet drier afterwards, which matters because damp carpet creates its own problems.
What it is not is a treatment for a medical condition. If someone in the house has severe asthma, the person to talk to about managing it is their doctor. What we can honestly say is that there is less sitting in the carpet afterwards than there was before.
