Gold Coast End of Lease Carpet Cleaning Surfers Paradise, for a repeat customer leaving a furnished apartment. The carpet was one part of the job. The other part was three beds that belong to the landlord, and in a furnished rental those go back with the keys.

This customer has called us several times now. Every time they have vacated since moving to Australia, they have stayed in the same apartment building, and this move was no different. This time they were going a few floors up.
They always rent furnished. So each exit is the same shape of job: the carpet, plus the beds that came with the apartment. This time that was two king single mattresses and a king mattress.
There were no pets and no odour concerns. It was a straight carpet clean, with a deodorising treatment added as the finishing line item that exit paperwork usually lists. Nothing in the apartment needed more than that.
An unfurnished rental hands back floors and walls. A furnished one hands back everything the landlord supplied, and the mattresses are the items that have had the most direct use.
Check the lease and the entry condition report before you book. If the beds are listed, it is far simpler to have them done on the same visit as the carpet than to remember them after the move, when the equipment has already gone. One visit, one invoice, and the paperwork covers both. The full exit service is on the end of lease carpet cleaning page.
Staying in the same building makes the timing easier than most moves, because you are only going upstairs. It is still worth booking the clean once your own belongings are out, so the floor is clear and nothing goes back down on a damp carpet.
Carpet is usually walkable within a few hours. A mattress is a different thing. It is layers of padding and foam, and any moisture that gets past the top layer has further to travel back out.
The advice we give is the cautious end: plan on the remainder of the day at an absolute minimum, and we advise not sleeping on it until the following day. A mattress dries quicker than a lounge and slower than carpet.
On an exit, that means two things. Book the mattresses early in the day where you can, and do not plan on sleeping on them that night if you are still in the apartment. Leave them stripped, open the balcony doors if the weather allows, and run a ceiling fan if there is one. Airflow shortens the drying. It does not change the advice about sleeping on it.
More on how it is done is on the mattress cleaning page.
Surfers Paradise is mostly apartments, and an apartment job is decided by access far more than by the carpet.
What we need is lift access and off street parking with clear van access. The equipment, the hoses and the product all have to get from the van to your door, and the van needs somewhere legitimate to sit for the length of the job. Depending on the building, the work is done either with truck mounted extraction from the van or with a commercial grade portable machine brought up in the lift. The machine changes, the standard does not.
If your building has a manager, a quick word before the day sorts most of it: a lift booking if one is needed, and where the van can park. There is more on working in the suburb on our carpet cleaning Surfers Paradise page.
This one was simple because there were no pets and no smell. If a pet has lived in the apartment, the job changes.
Pet odour and pet stains get an antibacterial enzyme treatment as standard, or an antimicrobial enzyme treatment where the soiling is heavier and more established. The enzymes break the source down rather than covering it.
Most leases also ask for a flea treatment when pets have been kept. That is done by a licensed technician, and it can go on the same visit as the carpet.
It is priced on the carpeted rooms, counted one per room, plus each mattress by size. A mattress booked on the same visit as the carpet costs less than one booked on its own, because the setup is already there.
The floor your apartment is on does not change the price. The minimum call-out fee is $145 plus GST, the same across the Gold Coast to Tweed Heads area, and you get an estimate rather than a quote, because rooms, sizes and condition are confirmed on the day.
