A first-time customer looking for a reliable carpet cleaner
A recent Helensvale job started the way a lot of first calls do. When we arrived, the customer told us they had done some research beforehand, looking for a reliable carpet cleaner rather than just booking whoever came up first. They said they liked how we responded to them over the phone and that our online reviews stood up, so they decided to give us the opportunity. The job covered wool carpet through the home, plus several rugs.
Rugs cleaned in the garage so they could air out properly
The customer specifically wanted the rugs cleaned out in the garage rather than left in place inside, so they could air out and dry properly afterwards. The garage floor was clean, so that was an easy request to accommodate. Rugs are always cleaned on site with us regardless, never taken away to a workshop, this was simply a case of choosing the best spot on the property for drying rather than anything unusual about the process itself.
Hypoallergenic, low toxicity products for a sensitive household
This particular customer was concerned about strong smells and general product toxicity in the home, so we used hypoallergenic, low toxicity products throughout rather than our standard range, while still matching everything to the wool fibre in the carpet and rugs. Wool needs a gentler approach than synthetic carpet regardless, so the two requirements worked together rather than against each other, careful fibre appropriate products with a rinse pass at the end to help the pile settle back to a natural pH balance.

Cost depends on how many rooms and rugs need cleaning, the fibre type, how soiled the carpet is, and whether hypoallergenic or low toxicity products are needed instead of our standard range. What does not change is the minimum call-out fee. It is $145 plus GST across the entire Gold Coast to Tweed Heads area, Helensvale included.
